Berlin based artist, Thomas Scheibitz, in his eight solo show with the gallery presented Studio Imaginaire that opened last October 23rd.  The space for processing has transcended from workshop into a neon bright utopia. The immense paintings, relief work and sculptures are paramount to the demonstration of such prowess where shades of Mondrian and if Lichtenstein made scenery devoid of people brought everyone into a world far less from mundane. One gets to inhabit the thought and idealized notion of the artist studio but the resulting oeuvre blows everything out of its expected confines. Prepare to be amazed and taken away from the everyday and into extra ordinary.
