David Benjamin Sherry is the new Ansel Adams on a Kool-Aid trip as his mono-color photographs testified super saturated majestic views for his show that opened last Sept. 11th at Danziger Gallery. AF came and immersed ourselves into the Western and Southwestern mountain views that were spectacular and the color treatment gave it that brevity as any natural wonder would command. Everyone wanted to inhabit the world that Sherry captured and washed in such stark saturated luscious hues. It is marrying the two iconic tenets of nature panoramic photography with the power of potent pure color fields. It brought on a well-illustrated scene to the lyrics in America The Beautiful: purple mountain majesty.  America has never looked so good and in full color, too!
