There were Ten photographers, factor in two years to complete the MFA program at Yale, and you got one great photography exhibition which AF attended last July 18th at Aperture. AF came to photography heaven for the show SHANNON who is not a real muse but rather their collective consciousness and what unified these nine artists of the lens. The 2013 MFA graduates of the Yale University of Art Photography Program featured in this show were: Marzena Abrahamik, Endia Beal, Elizabeth Bick, Johanna Case-Hofermeister, Tommy Kha, Michael Marcelle, Sophie Ruspoli, Justin Schmitz, Sadie Wechsler, and Rick Yribe. Their work was quite a feast for the eyes as we perused the individual talents of each artist to the craft of art photography. It is clear that the collective aims to show their individual path as they journey on forward with their careers. AF photography master, Max Noy, captured the spirit of SHANNON that very night. There are nine lives on display and may they soldier on to keep making their individual mark in the craft of art photography.
