But when he heard about the plans that Eric Firestone and Carlo McCormick had for their “Boneyard Project” his ears perked up. It didn’t hurt that during a visit to LA last summer, your reporter dropped in at LAMCA for the blockbuster “Art in the Streets” exhibition, and heard McCormick hyping the show during a lecture on Street Art. This program not only presents the painted planes but also the “Nose Jobs” section of the show which includes artists like Richard Prince, Mark Kostabi, Futura, Shepard Fairey, Dan Colen, Lee Quinones, et al.
