Last December 4, 2011 at the legendary club/event venue Webster Hall on 11th Avenue, the QAS (Quarterly Art Soiree) takes over the entire space staging a fun one-day bonanza of art, musical performances, poetry, performance artists and an art scene like no other.

Sax, the CEO of DMA Productions and organizer extraordinaire, enlivens the historic landmark venue by having the QAS feature local New York artists in a unique setting then pumped up with lots of entertainment. Held on a Sunday of every quarter, it also invites musicians, poets, and other performers to amp up the fun factor. This has been a vehicle for artists to be shown in a manner that no other art event can provide. The pedigree of Webster Hall as a fixture of where great events are staged and the tandem of pulsating entertainment really showcases what New York does best. It’s just not another art show. As in what is quintessentially Manhattan – it’s taken to the next level!

To curate a show of such diverse artists, Jenny Mushkin has cultivated a great number of artists who have joined in the weekly salon gatherings that ultimately will thrust the talented bunch at the quarterly events. These are some of the artists featured at December 2011 QAS: Michael Krasowitz, Trevor Attias, James Frazo, Kris Woodside, Isaal Brune, Peggi Pugh, Ana Melissa Carrion Chaly, Justin C. Meyer and the fabulous presence of artist/designer, Stephan Keating.
